Climate Change: Perspectives from the global South and North

We would like to invite you to a panel discussion organized by Forum 2000, in collaboration with the United Nations Information Centre Prague, the Embassies of Morocco, the Netherlands, South Africa and the Climate Coalition.

In 2015 all countries agreed to work to limit global warming to well below 2C. This requires a transformation of the energy, industry, transport, food, agriculture and forestry systems. The challenge of climate change can be addressed but the global efforts must be increased. Progress after the Paris Agreement will be reviewed at the UN climate conference in Marrakesh, Morocco, in November. What leadership is needed? What technology, innovation and adequate finance can do? Expert views from Morocco, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.
