Robert Neruda was named new partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners

Robert Neruda was named the twenty-first partner of Havel, Holásek & Partners.  With 140 lawyers, Havel, Holásek & Partners is the largest Czech-Slovak law firm.  In his new role, Robert Neruda will be co-responsible for the development of the firm’s specialised antimonopoly law practice group, as well as for the development of a legal team advising manufacturers, distributors and resellers of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).  He will continue advising clients in the public sector.

Pavla Hladká joined the Mazars international advisory company in the Czech Republic on 1 September 2011 in the position of the Director of the Forensic Services Department for the Central and Eastern European region. Robert Neruda appointed managing associate of Brno office  Robert Neruda (34), former vice chairman of the Office for the Protection of Competition and an attorney with nearly ten years of experience in competition law, has been appointed to the position of managing associate in the Brno office of the largest Czech-Slovak law firm, Havel, Holásek & Partners. Robert has been with Havel, Holásek & Partners for over a year now. To date, Robert has led the firm’s competition and public aid legal team. CS Cargo groupage service achieves savings for the firm as well as the client

The groupage service operated by CS Cargo represents a system of consignment forwarding from the consigning client to the final customer. The company groupage service utilises a system of transshipment centres in suitable catchment areas where parcels and small consignments are collected. The next edition of the scholarship program Wings’ Spreaders has already started on the 1st April, which is the day of the 20th anniversary of the Raben Group in Poland. This year edition concern the next area of CSR – working place, thus it is called Humanations. ING Bank announces annual results 2010 – net profit CZK 671 million

ING Bank Czech Republic ended the year 2010 with successful financial results being very close to the record year of 2009 and realized the net profit of CZK 671 million in 2010. Considering the positive yearly revaluations of bond portfolios (in the amount of CZK 116 million), the net comprehensive income equalled to CZK 787 million (being -3% compared to 2009).

HAVEL & HOLÁSEK – THE LARGEST LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR 2010

Petr Frisch, Mazars’ New Tax Partner

The 6th annual ING Kampa Group Midsummer Invitational at Konopiště

On Friday June 25, 2010, the Konopiště Golf Course hosted the sixth annual ING Kampa Midsummer Invitational golf tournament. Proceeds from ING Better Ball Classic donated to children

On 14 September 2009, the tournament ING Better Ball Classic took place in the new Prague City Golf Club in Zbraslav. The tournament, played as a “better ball” competition, was organized by ING for its clients. The proceeds from registration fees and voluntary contributions, which amounted to CZK 27,000, were donated to the ING Wholesale Banking Fund of Tereza Maxová Children's Foundation.

Dennis M. Nally Selected As Global Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers

Dennis M. Nally has been elected Chairman of the PricewaterhouseCoopers International Network for a four year term beginning on July, 1, 2009. PwC member firms worldwide ratified the selection of Mr. Nally, 56, by the PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Board. Samuel A. DiPiazza, Jr., the current Chairman announced last November that he was retiring after a 35 year career with the firm. He will remain with PwC for a transition period and will formally retire from PwC later in 2009.
