General Meeting 16. 6. 2008

This year’s Annual General Meeting was held on June16, at the Golf Club Hostivař. The participants were informed about the budgets and activities of the Chamber in 2007 and 2008. A new Board of Directors for the years 2008-2009, as well as the Verification Board to verify the financial administration of 2008, were elected. The delegates agreed on increasing the membership fees as of January 1, 2009. The patron membership will be 75,000 CZK, corporate membership 25,000 CZK and personal membership 8,000 CZK.

From all the other topics discussed, we would like to highlight the Chamber’s intention to intensify its efforts towards activities in Moravia and cooperation with other international chambers of commerce active in the Czech Republic.

Those interested in golf had an opportunity to play 9 holes or get an introductory lesson on the driving range. Although the weather resembled autumn rather than the beginning of summer, a few of us set out for the green after the meeting, while the others were enjoying a nice buffet and pleasant conversations.
