ING HAS RECEIVED 2 PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS
ING awarded best European Cash Management Bank accolade by Treasury Management International
ING Commercial Banking has won the Treasury Management International (TMI) European Cash Management Award 2009 for payments and cash management services.
The award, which was presented in London on 28 January, 2010 by Robin Page, CEO of TMI, is based on votes received from hundreds of clients over a six month period. This is now the third time that ING has won the award in the European Cash Management category.
Speaking at the ceremony, Robin Page said: “We are delighted to present ING with the prestigious 2009 Best Cash Management Bank in Europe award. Voted by our readers, who are leading corporate treasurers from around the world, this award clearly demonstrates that ING are ‘getting it right’ for their customers, particularly during the past 12 challenging months.”

ING has received recognition for its securities services work in Central & Eastern Europe from Global Custodian, the quarterly magazine for the securities services industry. In the 2009 Agent Banks in Emerging Markets survey, ING Securities Services has won ‘Top’ and ‘Commended’ ratings in each of the categories for the eight Central & Eastern European countries in which ING offers custody services. ING received ‘Top’ ratings in the following categories and countries: ‘Leading Clients’ - Poland, Hungary, Slovak Republic, Ukraine and Russia; ‘Cross Border Non-Affiliated Clients’ – Hungary and Poland; ‘Domestic Clients’ – Romania and Poland. Also, ING was awarded ‘Commended’ ratings in each category for our work in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.
