Prior to joining Havel, Holásek & Partners, Michaela worked for five years at the international law firm Schőnherr, where she specialised in commercial and corporate law. During her practice, she was involved in a number of international and national transactions, both on the selling and the buying side. These included transactions primarily in the area of the automotive industry, engineering industry, private equity, consumer goods and services trade. She was responsible for the restructuring of companies/concerns, reorganisations of companies, and day-to-day advising for major international and national companies.
At Havel, Holásek & Partners, Michaela will specialise in acquisitions, reorganisation and divestitures of companies, commercial law and corporate law, legal due diligence, labour law and social security law. She graduated from the Charles University Faculty of Law and from the University of Economics in Prague. She had international internships in Austria, Germany and the United Kingdom. She is a member of the Czech Bar Association and is fluent in English and German.
Marianna Čarská is a new addition to the Slovak team at Havel, Holásek & Partners’ Bratislava office. Prior to joining Havel, Holásek & Partners, Marianna worked for 8 years at an international consulting firm, where she managed a legal department and provided legal advice to foreign clients in their entry to the Slovak market. She also specialised in the area of money laundering and personal data protection.
In her new position, Marianna will focus on legal advice in the area of corporate law and activities related to the establishment and governance of companies, as well as the acquisition, divestiture or liquidation of companies. She will also focus on labour law and related areas, such as social security, employment of foreigners, and the like. Marianna graduated from the Comenius University Law Faculty in Bratislava. She is fluent in English and is a member of the Slovak Bar Association.
