Hilton Prague & Hilton Prague Old Town Announce Changes in Top Management_

Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town are pleased to announce an appointment of Stefan Bauer to the position of Hotel Manger, Hilton Prague and Christian Schwenke to the position of Hotel Manager, Hilton Prague Old Town. Franco Luise was named Executive Chef, Hilton Prague. Michael Specking will keep overlooking both Prague properties as cluster general manager.

Stefan Bauer, born in 1978 in Austria, was appointed as Hotel Manager at Hilton Prague. He joined the hotel from the corporate office of Hilton Worldwide where he was Director of Food and Beverage for Eastern Europe, Israel, Russia and Turkey. Stefan Bauer’s 15 years of experience with Hilton Hotels & Resorts extends to various operations positions in Hilton properties in Beijing, Toronto, London and Vienna. In his new role, he will mainly focus on the growth of the overall guest experience throughout all market segments along with strengthening the outstanding reputation of Hilton Prague as the leading convention hotel in Central and Eastern Europe.
 
Stefan Bauer replaces Daniel Habersatter who, after almost four years at Hilton Prague, has moved to Estonia as the General Manager to open Hilton Tallinn.
 
Hilton_Christian Schwenke res
Christian Schwenke, born in 1983, originally from Germany, was appointed as Hilton Prague Old Town Hotel Manager. Since 2011, Mr. Schwenke has been the Cluster Director of Business Development at Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town and in the previous almost 15 years with Hilton, he held various sales and business development positions in Budapest, Antwerp, Bremen, Nuremberg and Weimar. Christian’s main focus will be to keep up the great successes in terms of hotel performance and brand recognition Hilton Prague Old Town has achieved in recent years, increase its strong presence in the Czech Republic and work closely with the hotel team to keep up the high level of guest experience.
 
Christian Schwenke replaces Luca Crocco, who is heading after five years at Hilton Prague Old Town to Doha, Qatar, to take on the opening of the new Curio by Hilton.
 
Hilton_Franco Louise res
Franco Luise, born in 1962, Italian, was appointed Executive Chef at Hilton Prague. He joined the hotel team from Hilton Batumi, Georgia, where he was in charge of the preopening. Mr. Luise has a varied background which includes hotel openings and heading the kitchen teams in Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem and Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. In addition to his nearly 40 years of kitchen management experience, Franco was a Chef Consultant for Electrolux where he looked after the research and development department. He is also the author of several cookbooks. Franco’s main aim will be to build on the great culinary reputation of Hilton Prague, which includes five outlets as well as an extensive banqueting department and implement the latest in worldwide culinary trends.
 
Franco replaces Leon Malik, who decided to retire. During his 20 years at Hilton Prague he showed great management and organizational skills, overseeing a large and complex operation, while launching exciting projects, such as off premises catering services.
