The 50 best law firms around the world were recognised by clients in the prestigious International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Awards 2013. The shortlist was chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments. For the Czech Republic, the award was presented to the Czech-Slovak law firm Havel, Holásek & Partners.
The criteria for the ILO Client Choice Awards focus on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' businesses above and beyond that of the other players in the market. This is the second time Havel, Holásek & Partners have been recognised by the Awards, thus becoming the Czech Republic’s law firm best valued by clients.
Launched in 1998, the International Law Office is a law firm rating agency and a provider of updates on global legal developments. It runs an awards programme recognizing and rewarding those law firms and partners that have been commended exclusively by corporate counsel for their client service. The ILO encompasses a database of the world's major deals and the legal advisers involved, and a comprehensive directory of firms and partners. The awards culminate each year in two ceremonies in London and New York.
